Light for the World

Make your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven.

Every week, on a day set aside for worship, many of us Christians gather in churches to learn about and to praise God. On that day, we are all followers of Christ. But what happens when we step outside those holy doors? That transition reveals two different kinds of people. Some will do their best to blend in with the world, trying to fit in at all costs with the people around them. Others will take hold of what is offered at church and will let their light shine for the world, reaching out to the people around them, not to condemn them but to reveal Jesus’ wondrous gift of salvation.
So what makes the difference? When you exit the church, will you try to fit in or will you be Jesus’ bright shining light? It’s entirely up to you. <
